New John Hancock Long Term Care Insurance Approved In Most States
The new generation Custom Care III Long Term Care insurance plan from John Hancock Life Insurance Company has now been approved in most states. Two states still waiting for approval of this long term care plan are California and Indiana.
The Custom Care III product has an innovative Benefit Builder feature. The Benefit Builder allows coverage to increase gradually over time and can be particularly advantageous for younger buyers who do not anticipate needing care for many years. This new feature can be an affordable alternative to traditional automatic inflation options.
John Hancock Life Insurance Company is an active participant in the Long Term Care Partnership Programs in several states. California has The California Partnership for Long Term Care and Indiana has a Partnership program called Indiana Long Term Care Partnership Program. John Hancock is expected to have products available with both of these Partnership Programs when approved.
It is common for States to require special training for agents to sell Long Term Care Partnership Policies.
